Bee Here Now Farm Update

One-half of the midtown plot and all of the King’s Row plot (and greenhouse) have their irrigation systems in place. That means we can start planting! Arugula, spinach, mustard green, mizuna, and radishes are going in. We will get near freezing conditions this week, but these seeds are hardy. Happy Spring from Bee Here Now…

Ice Dyeing – Linen Dress

I’ve entered into the realm of textile dyeing.  Using ice leads to a wonderful gradient of colors unlike traditional tie dyeing methods.  This piece is a linen dress that I originally created while at MIT and I am dyeing it 18 years later.  It seems to be the prefect medium to receive this treatment.
