Words from Dr. Rosakranse on Empathy and Digital Technology

The Empathy Wall I had the opportunity to share what I have learned during my academic life working on empathy, compassion, and digital technologies with How Stuff Works. I am so happy that they were able to relate recent findings in communication studies to what is happening in the world at this moment. It is…

Team Being

My work has always centered on combining technology, art, empathy, compassion, communication, and psychology to create and explore new modes of fostering a more compassionate world through digital media. I have revamped my website to begin a new initiative called Team Being that will curate my research, findings, and multimedia experiments at rosakranse.com.

Ice Dyeing – Linen Dress

I’ve entered into the realm of textile dyeing.  Using ice leads to a wonderful gradient of colors unlike traditional tie dyeing methods.  This piece is a linen dress that I originally created while at MIT and I am dyeing it 18 years later.  It seems to be the prefect medium to receive this treatment.
